Joining the choir
New members are welcome and at present there are places available in all voices, however tenors and basses would be especially welcome. There is no
audition for new members and the choir has members of all levels of experience and ability. Joining the choir offers the opportunity for less
experienced singers to gain confidence and improve their singing.
Members pay an annual membership fee of £90 which covers the costs of rehearsals and performances. Under 18 membership is free.
A one-off returnable deposit of £20 to cover the costs of borrowing vocal scores is also requested. Newcomers are
welcome to come along to two or three rehearsals free of charge without committing to join the choir.
If you wish to join, please come to a rehearsal, held each Monday during term time at St Andrew's Methodist Church,
Cromer Road, Sheringham, starting at 7pm or send us a message via our contact page.
All members are eligible to join the committee and the committee is elected at the AGM which is held on the first Monday in September. The committee members
constitute the trustees of the Society, which is a registered charity (Charity No. 281467). The Society is governed by a Trust Deed and has a Constitution
to which all members are asked to abide by when they join.
